~ TRAINING, COACHING, AND CONSULTING PROGRAM OVERVIEW ~
Our entrepreneurship and business skills trainings and coaching services are geared toward motivated and creative individuals who want to start, strengthen, or expand a business, enterprise, or organization.
Economic Empowerment and Entrepreneurship
We provide trainings, consulting, and coaching to help our constituents increase their understanding of household economics, asset development, regional economic and social trends, entrepreneurship, business and organizational development, marketing, financing, stewardship, and sustainability. Our constituents who start, strengthen, or expand their enterprise are typically focused in the following sectors: retail, construction trades, health and personal services, food-related, child and elder care, consulting, social entrepreneurship, human services, business and professional services, social ministries, green enterprises, sustainable tourism, community-based organizations, and creative enterprises. Others decide to strengthen their household finances, obtain more education, strive for better or more meaningful work with advancement opportunities, develop a network for future entrepreneurial ventures, or discover new ways to serve their community.
Sustainable Development
Through our Stewardship and Sustainability Initiative, we encourage and nurture sustainable community economic development, community investing, socially responsible businesses, social entrepreneurship, restorative enterprises, and servant leadership.
We are doing our best work when we collaborate with service providers, local entrepreneurs, development professionals, and community leaders from the private, public, and civic sectors to
- Expand the pipeline of entrepreneurs,
- Weaver together a system of services and support,
- Foster supportive policy and cultural environments,
- Nurture an inclusive and entrepreneurial civic culture, and
- Develop entrepreneurial grassroots leaders
