Good Work Community Service and Leadership Development
Good Work facilitates community service and leadership development opportunities that provide value to community entrepreneurs and local stakeholders. We believe community service provides continuous learning opportunities for becoming more self-aware, bringing out the best in others, communicating skillfully, and nurturing authentic relationships.
Good Work's community service agenda includes education, training, and ongoing support around Good Work's core themes of empowerment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. We hope to discover and create new paths for living and working in our changing world. We dig into local and regional issues that emerge naturally from the network and also explore and support projects that have leadership and weave together multiple issues such as food, energy, health, entrepreneurship, vocation, stewardship, and community.
Community service roles and opportunities with Good Work include:
- Volunteer: Sign-up to serve in pre-existing roles and activities
- Internship: Co-develop & work a portfolio of activity for 5 months or less
- Fellowship: Co-develop & work a portfolio of activity for more than 5 months
